ARPM speaker profile: Peter Flecher

There are a range of interesting and engaging speakers coming to the Australasian Property Management Conference (ARPM) this year.

We have comedians, motivational speakers, corporate coaches - but most of all, we have real estate experts, like experienced agent and social media expert Peter Flecher.

A man of extensive experience

If you are looking to gain some property management training from someone who has had extensive experience in the industry, then look no further.

Peter Flecher worked as a real estate agent for over 20 years. Based in Perth, he took over a struggling agency and helped it become a successful business - it now manages more than 600 properties.

During this time he worked in a variety of roles and picked up skills across the board - from taking over sales responsibilities to managing the business side of things, he learnt about all aspects of becoming a successful property agent.

Finding his niche

After putting in the hard yards to get the Perth agency off the ground, Peter has stepped back to focus on a different specialisation.

He now helps agents use social media marketing to help them boost their careers and create a lucrative online presence.

Peter works with people from all across the industry, including some agents from the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia.

From holding social media workshops to giving advice about internet marketing strategies, his aim is to help his clients use the online world to their best advantage.

An engaging public speaker

One of the best things about Peter is that he knows how to communicate his ideas and advice effectively.

The testimonials on his website, PeterFlecher.com.au, all praise his expertise and skills.

Andrew Moore, the chief executive of Harcourts Western Australia (WA), said: "Speaking at our event yesterday Peter was very entertaining to say the least. Great interaction from the team through an enlightening and very well facilitated discussion."

Meanwhile Kerin Kenny, the state property management coordinator at Harcourts WA said that Peter tailored his presentation to suit her audience.

"Having sat like 'the rabbit in headlights' through social media presentations on three previous occasions, how refreshing to have a session tailored and pitched at just the right level!" she said.

ARPM 2012 will be held in Sydney at the Hilton Hotel on August 5 and 6. There will be a range of other speakers attending, as well as a Trade Show and exclusive networking opportunities. Register and learn more about ARPM 2012.
