Course in Property Practice

To work in sales or property management for a real estate agency in NSW you are required by law to hold a Certificate of Registration. To obtain the Certificate you must first satisfy the educational requirements set down by the Office of Fair Trading. Currently the Office of Fair Trading requires that all entrants must have successfully completed the NSW Course in Property Practice (91086 NSW).

91086 NSW - Course in Property Practice (Real Estate)

The course is made up of three recognised standard modules:

  • NSW17319A - Work in the Real Estate Sector
    This unit seeks to identify the work practices for the effective provision of real estate services and also deals with possible risk areas in real estate agency practices.

  • NSW17319B - Prepare for Work in the Property Industry
    This unit sets out the application of legal and ethical practices for operatives in the real estate sector.

  • NSW17319C - Communicate with Property Clients
    This unit has application in over-the-counter and telephone responses in all aspects of client communication related to listed properties and other agency services.
