TRET Cares
In 2008, TRET launched its sustainable marketing initiative TRETcares.
As part of our event marketing print campaigns we reduced our carbon footprint and also used environmentally responsible products sourced from sustainable plantation forests and print with soya-based inks.
In 2011, TRET is striving to achieve full sustainability for all its events and conferences, partnering with Green Shoot Pacific our specialist event greening agency to achieve this. We have created a TRET Sustainability Policy and procurement guidelines which outlines objectives and goals. We aim to achieve various targets at AREC 2011 by greening as best possible our processes and procedures. Part of understanding our sustainability performance will be to gather as much data from across the event so as to baseline AREC 2011 for our future events. We encourage all TRET stakeholders to rise to the challenge and work with us to achieve our goal.
