John McGrath to take centre stage at premier property conference

One of the best-known names in real estate, John McGrath has nearly 30 years in the industry, having gone from a letting clerk to the owner of a business worth millions annually.

McGrath is something of a property prodigy, having set up a firm that has seen some of the fastest growth on the east coast of the country and now boasts more than 40 offices in Queensland, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.

After starting his own firm in 1988, the successful entrepreneur now employees hundreds of agents and services a range of different markets - most noticeably in the prestige sector sales and rentals.

On top of this, McGarth is an accomplished writer, having authored three books - including the bestselling You Inc.

He also received the Centenary Medal from the Australian government in 2003 in recognition of his services to businesses across the country and in 2008 was awarded the Woodrow Weight OBE lifetime achievement award by REINSW.

McGrath's attitude towards both professional and personal success is characterised by a positive, progressive approach that is both realistic and goal oriented.
