Younger people 'more positive' about property ownership

Younger people are becoming more optimistic about property ownership and are keen to crack the market, one real estate agent in Adelaide has asserted.

Speaking to the Southern Times Messenger, real estate agent Nat Johncock noted that as a result of this growing trend, she has made an effort to make the property purchase process as simple as possible.

She observed that for many young buyers, the purchasing process can be "daunting", but there are things property professionals can do to make this easier.

"As a local real estate agent, I'm happy to … help them through purchasing a property," Ms Johncock said.

Staying on top of market trends - such as an emerging number of young first-time buyers, can help real estate agents stand out from the crowd. Those who are willing to go the extra mile can find their efforts will be warmly appreciated - and their sales results may reflect this.

There are a number of ways for sales agents to keep their finger on the pulse of current market trends and remain motivated. Ongoing professional development - in the form of courses, seminars and even webinars - can be a great way for real estate agents to seek out valuable industry information.
